Increasingly I am drawn to this format it gives the opportunity to tell a story in pictures. Enclosed are photos from Demonstrations in Copenhagen, Berlin, Leeds and London.
I like to work within the body of the demonstration, it allows you to get closer to the demonstrators I find a 35mm lens to be ideal for these situations

This panel won best photo essay at Sheffield Photographic Societies 2024 Exhibition. I learnt a lot about putting panels together and found it necessary to omit my favourite photo in order to give the panel the correct balance. Obtaining feedback from others was helpful in determining what arrangement had the greatest impact.
3 Demonstrations in Leeds August 2024
The Far Right, Anti Far Right and Palestinian Gaza demonstrations were held within 150 meters of each other on the Headrow in Leeds on the same day
Just Stop Oil - Protest at the British Embassy in Berlin against the jailing of 2 Just Stop Oil Activists for throwing Tomato soup over the Sunflowers painting by Van Gough. I used colour as the Tomato Soup was a key element of the demonstration and colour portrayed this more effectively
